Gee I love discount codes or coupons - whatever you like to call them.
And this one won’t disappoint. If you’re a new customer to Fishpond (an online store where you can buy books, movies, games, toys and music) you can get
$10 off a $25 spend.
That’s actually a fantastic offer given they normally have $10 off a $40 spend. The last one of these that was offered was back in February.
The coupon you require to use at checkout is REWARDFISH and it expires today, 12th March 2010.

And again the Aussie dollar is looking pretty nice against the British Pound today.
If you’re keen to spend some money on clothing (gosh, did I just say that? Who wouldn’t?) then The Hut has a clothing line called LIPSY clothing. If you use the coupon LIP20, you can get yourself a whopping £20 off. That’s around AUD$32. Not sure when the code expires. There’s another code available LIPS40 which will give you 40% off.
It doesn’t stop there, the discount codes are abundantly available. You can save 10% off Penguin clothing using the Promo Code: PEN10. This code expires: 28th February 2010.
And, just one more. Similar to the blog I put up yesterday for the Playstation Day, TODAY The Hut have an Xbox 360 & PC Games Day. You can get up to 80% off selected games – for 24 hours only. It’s all happening. Clothes and games – goodness, we all must surely be as happy as little piggies in heaven.

Do you have an Xbox? I reckon when you buy accessories, by the time you’ve got a few items in your hands, it quickly adds up. I have just found there is a 20% cashback available when you buy any selected Xbox 360 accessories from an authorised reseller in Australia, between 1st March and 30th April 2010.
Xbox AU is providing the 20% rebate on any accessories. Once you’ve made your purchase, you’ll need to send your claim in by 5pm AEST 11th June 2010. Then, when it’s been verified your cashback will be electronically transferred into your nominated account (allow 60 days for this to happen). You can make up to 3 claims, which is pretty good, and a photocopy of your original receipt will be fine.
You might want to check out the Terms and Conditions on what this deal doesn’t include, such as PC Hardware, PC peripherals, 3rd Party Xbox Accessories, Xbox or Xbox 360 games etc.

I just bought this bracelet from the Stannard-inc website. The price tag is $55, but with a discount code giving me 20% off, I only paid $44. It’s a unisex bracelet, so either a guy or a girl can wear it. Stannard-inc, an online accessories boutique they call themselves, have men’s jewellery and women’s jewellery, which is refreshingly different. There’s oxidized jewellery, bronze and leather, plumage, badda bing badda boom, bronze and resin, neo geo, word on the street and lots of other interesting design titles.
For the remainder of this month, there’s 20% off everything PLUS free delivery Australia wide.

The Hut, which is in a UK based website, currently has a sale on selected PS2, PS3 and PSP games – but it’s only for 24 hours only.
They have quick delivery but more importantly for us Aussies, the delivery isn’t too expensive. And the Aussie Dollar is very strong at the moment, definitely great value for bargain lovers.
When you’re ordering, make sure you watch out for the region restrictions. PS3 games are region free because they’re Blu-ray, as Blu-ray doesn’t have region restrictions. The High School Musical 3 Senior Year – Sing It is £6.93, (that’s around AUD$11.30), plus your shipping of around £2-3. I thought that was very reasonable, especially given the cost of the game here in Australia is around $23. Plus, this one comes with a microphone.
Other well priced games include Bayonetta (PS3) £17.93, Battlefield Bad Company 2 (PS3) £38.93 and FIFA 2010 (PS3) £11.93. Here’s the currency converter to help you work out what it’ll cost in Australian dollars.

Here’s a great Freebie – F R E E earphones (worth $10) that also come with free delivery. There is a limit of 1,000 earphones available, so you will need to register with OozBooM by providing your delivery address details and tick the box agreeing to receive the newsletter (use your junk email account for this type of stuff), and the headphones will be sent out to you FREE.
I know these earphones aren’t the latest and greatest, say like an expensive pair from Sony or Bose, but hey, not a bad freebie for that extra set to be left lying around. Maybe give to the kids when you’re tired of hearing their Nintendo DS, iPod or MP3 playing out loud, or for when you’re jogging in the rain (and don’t want the good set to get wet), or whatever. At the end of the day, they’re a pair to use when you don’t want to use your good ones.
I just registered for a pair. Now let’s wait and see now if they arrive.

Kids love all things science, and I’m sure plenty of adults do too. If you sign up to iSubscribe, you’ll receive a free copy of the magazine called Popular Science Magazine. This offer actually came out last year and it was ridiculously popular. I remember because I was one who missed out.
This won’t be around for long. In fact, on the iSubscribe website, it does say there’s only 100 copies available. That sure isn’t many.
Did you know that somewhere in the world right now there has been an amazing breakthrough? This is the kinda stuff Popular Science keeps you up to date with – the latest innovation and scientific discoveries. Woo Hoo.

Have you ever seen that ad on TV where a mother is busy playing sport or having coffee with her friends, then in the last scene of the ad is her child lying on the road under her bicycle, injured after being hit by a car, or falling off her bike? That ad specifically targeted audiences who had never taken a first aid course. I used to hate that ad. But is sure was a strong message.
Well, Target have partnered up with St John Ambulance Australia to support this charitable organisation and are offering a FREE First Aid Course.
If you’re a parent and carer of children 12 years and under and you live in NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA or NT, then you’re eligible to attend a FREE St John First Aid course. Pretty good hey? Especially given the cost is normally $125 per person. So not only are you attending the course for free, you’re also gaining invaluable information on potentially saving someone’s life one day.
To find out more on the course dates for your state, just go through to the website here. Alternatively, you can call on 1300 106 499. This course was trialled back in April 2009, and due to an overwhelming success, it’s being carried on this year.

Have you ever wandered through an arcade or shopping centre, and got a whiff of that distinctive, licorice smell? I love that smell, and it certainly shouts out Darrell Lea to me. Yum. Makes my mouth water.
When you buy a 300gm pack of Darrell Lea’s Original Liquorice, it will only cost you $1.00 instead of the normal RRP of $3.79. This is available in store only. But in saying that, have a look through the website and see if you find something else that tantalises your tastebuds before you head into a store. In fact, when you go through to the website, you’ll also see specials on chocolate bars, Rocklea Road, chocolate cartons and more licorice.
This offer started yesterday, Monday 8th March 2010 and will run through to Sunday, 14th March. One Week Only.
